Costumed Characters: XBox Squeeballs Promotion




Location: Los Angeles, CA

To promote the release of the Squeeballs video game and new action-activated sensors for XBox, Attack! took to the streets at the LA Convention Center. Brand ambassadors dressed up in life-size Squeeball costumes, handed out promotional flyers, and invited consumers to  line up for a chance to swing a tennis racket at the plush  toys (and take them home afterward!).  The street teams helped to create a fun environment with memorable experiences and lasting positive impressions for all involved. The event spanned three days and generated immeasurable buzz for Squeeball’s October 2009 release by distributing 1,000 plush toys and 1,700 flyers!

Brand Awareness: Blimpies




Location: Los Angeles, CA

In dozens of locations across the Greater Los Angeles Area, Attack! brand ambassadors visited office buildings, shopping areas, industrial parks, schools, and medical centers to increase brand awareness to promote Blimpie’s select $5  sub sandwiches. The teams handed out 3,000 catering menus, 2,000 VIP free sub coupons and discount cards to eager and hungry passers-by of all ages. In addition, the Blimpie ambassadors distributed 3,000 flyers to promote 99-cent sub Fridays. The campaign spanned seven markets and several months and successfully got the word out on Blimpie’s tasty subs and great deals.

Costumed Sample Distribution: Lush’s Lushman Shaves the World!




Locations: Atlanta, GA; Chicago, IL; Brandon, FL; Baton Rouge, LA; Los Angeles, CA; New York City, NY

Attack! saved the day once again by sending Lushman, the brand’s resident superhero, to Lush’s natural cosmetics stores nationwide. Lushman used his muscles and moves to create buzz about the company’s newest shaving cream.  In total, Lushman and Lush brand ambassadors distributed approximately 5,000 samples and 9,000 coupons to starstruck shoppers.

Cause Marketing: Movember Awareness

Locations: New York City, San Diego, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Chicago

Movember, the month-long, mustache-themed annual event raising awareness and funds for prostate and testicular cancer, partnered with Attack! Marketing & Promotions to send talented and energetic staff into five U.S. cities.  At high traffic events and locations in each market,  Attack teams sported Movember branded apparel and handbags as they distributed and posted a variety of mustache stickers (branded with the Movember website), shared information on the cause, and collected email addresses of those eager to learn more about the organization.   At the end of the campaign, the street teams had distributed approximately 60,000 mo stickers.

Guerrilla Marketing and Premium Sampling: Popchips at Nike’s Human Race

The thousands that gathered at Nike’s Human Race this year were treated to a visit by the increasingly renowned popchips street team. Attack! gathered L.A.’s best and brightest to represent popchips at the world famous race. Racers were treated to a pre-race show that featured some of the area’s best “pop ‘n’ lockers”. All dancers wore popchips attire and performed alongside a team of energetic staff distributing bags of the product to hungry racers, both pre and post event. Event Marketing: Semi-Pro DVD Release

To promote the DVD release of blockbuster hit Semi-Pro , starring Will Ferrell, Attack! staff interacted with basketball fans leaving the Lakers v. Celtics playoff game at the Los Angeles Staples Center. Staff dressed in Semi-Pro themed outfits distributed over 3,000 mini basketballs to the receptive and enthusiastic crowd.


Street Sampling: West Coast starts Poppin’ popchips


Locations: Los Angeles and Mountain View California

Over 4th of July weekend, Attack! field staff helped hundreds of Americans celebrate by sharing nearly 7,000 bags of the delicious, locally made popchips snacks. “Attackers” visited popular beaches, family barbecues, and busy parts of town to distribute popchips, bringing a great snack, great attitudes and target product information to thousands of consumers under the sunny California sun.


Brand Ambassadors in Street Sampling: Del Taco’s Inferno

Attack! brand ambassadors promoted Del Taco by creating a fun, high impact marketing initiative sure to get Los Angeles excited about the restaurant’s newest and spiciest hot sauce, “Inferno.” Attack selected high traffic locations in Los Angeles and sent groups of energetic, uniformed brand ambassadors out alongside a branded fire-truck, samples of Inferno, chips, beverages and Del Taco coupons. The firetruck and sparkling field staff mingled with people at Angels and Dodgers baseball games, as well as at popular Los Angeles beaches on Memorial Day Weekend.


Event Marketing: SKATE DAY!


Location: Tampa, San Diego, Los Angeles, and New York City

To promote, an interactive skateboarding website, Attack! sent youthful and energetic staff to skate parks nationwide on “Go Skateboarding Day”, the official international holiday of skateboarding. Attack street teams stenciled the website’s logo on and around busy skate parks, distributed premiums, and gave stoked skaters the lowdown on the site.


Wet-Sampling: Ready to get CRUNK!!!


Location: Los Angeles, Riverside and Irvine, California

Attack! conceptualized and executed a high-impact, multi tiered street program that offered thousands of consumers the chance to taste a be a part of the CRUNK!!! experience. Teams of youthful and energetic brand ambassadors introduced thousands of consumers to the drink, both on the street, at events and through in-store ‘wet sampling’ demos. Sampling efforts were supported by sponsorship of popular local bands, artists and music festivals, and public appearance support from the King of Crunk, Lil’ Jon. Attack sampled CRUNK!!! at 200 separate retail locations, and over 18,000 cans were distributed at guerrilla marketing events.
