Jamba Juice: Flash Mob

To help create buzz and awareness  for Jamba Juice, Attack! brand ambassadors went bananas across the busy streets of New York City.

Attack! teams of costumed characters conducted choreographed dances dressed as smoothilicious pieces of fruit at selected locations pleasantly surprising passersby.

Who can resist a flash mob of bananas dancing in sync to the Jamba Samba, especially with awesome giveaways like branded bracelets and scarves?

Four Loko: Costumed Characters

Location: New York, NYC

Attack! brand ambassadors helped to put on a spectacular performance for the locals of New York for the re-launch of Four Loko. This promotional event involved costumed zombies, stilt walkers, little people and dancers joined a Four Loko float at the NY Halloween parade, wowing spectators with a choreographed performance to Michael Jackson’s “Thriller”.

A Four Loko sponsored after party was held to showcase the new range of drinks and to share branded giveaways to excited fans on a very “loko” Halloween night.

T-Mobile “Find the Elf”: Brand Ambassadors

Location: New York, NY; Atlanta, GA; Los Angeles, CA.

To help drive consumers to T-Mobile retail stores, Attack! brand ambassadors hosted a one day holiday promotion at T-mobile locations across the nation. Customers were invited to a real life scavenger hunt using social media networks to  help T-Mobile Find the Elf.

The promotional event was made of extra energetic elves kitted out in T-Mobile swag jumped from store to store with Santa’s gift bag to hand out goodies including the new Samsung Galaxy and $1000 in cash to the first person to decipher the clues and hunt down the team!

Monster Savings: Street Team & Costumed Character

Location: Union Square, New York City

Attack! brand ambassadors and a cuddly green costumed monster hit the busy streets of Union Square in New York to help Monster Savings raise awareness and capture more commercial customers.

Street marketing teams got the message out by distributing tote bags filled with goodies including; gift cards and flyers on ways to get started with Monster Savings. With the help of the very approachable green monster, conversations were initiated and dozens of passersby stopped for a cheeky  hug and a fantastic photo opportunity.

Publicity Stunt: Santa Monica Place Mall Hot & Cold Game

Location: Santa Monica, CA

Groups of energetic Attack! street teams headed to the Promenade to help promote the grand opening of the Santa Monica Place Mall. Dressed in color-coded t-shirts, loud, enthusiastic brand ambassadors engaged with local shoppers in the largest game of hot and cold. Promotional teams directed shoppers to the mall by telling them whether they were “warmer” or “colder” to the mall’s location. Shoppers that reached the mall were congratulated, cheered on and applauded by excited brand ambassadors. Check out the video to catch a glimpse of all the excitement the promotion created!

Publicity Stunt: SugarCRM at DreamForce

Location: San Francisco, CA

Attack! sent brand ambassadors and costumed characters to DreamForce, a Salesforce sponsored conference at Downtown S.F.’s Moscone Center, to publicize SugarCRM, a Salesforce competitor. For two days during the event, four men dressed as business professionals wore impossible to miss billboard backpacks advertising a “mock book”, Behind the Smoke Screen: the untold story of how Salesforce.com still manages to sell 1999 technology 10 years later.  Uniformed brand ambassadors were on hand to assist in passing out the books and all team members communicated key speaking points on SugarCRM services as attendees filed in and out of the conference.  In total, 1,000 hardcover books and close to 5,000 flyers were distributed.  As an added bonus, the stunt received coverage on Newsweek.com (read full article here).

Publicity Stunt: “A Gunfighter’s Pledge”

To increase awareness of the Hallmark Channel’s Western themed television show, “A Gunfighter’s Pledge”, Attack! sent brand ambassadors out to interact with the public and increase excitement surrounding the show. Dressed in authentic cowboy attire, fifty lively young men infiltrated high traffic areas across the U.S.. In total, the cowboys distributed 10,000 branded “Sheriff Badges”, relayed key messages about the show, and brought laughs and smiles to those lucky enough to get lassoed by one of the handsome cowboys.

Attack! sent a group of fun and professional football fans to Fox Sports headquarters to serve as the official campaigners for LaDaninian Tomlinson, star rusher for the San Diego Chargers. As LT spoke with press, Attack! Marketing staff helped campaign for LT to become the #1 Fantasy Football pick with picket signs, big smiles and loud cheers. Attack! helped to increase brand awareness for Fox Sports by attracting significant consumer and media interest.

Guerilla Marketing: Vespa- Maybelline Wedding in NYC!

teamed up with Conde Nast Bridal Media, Maybelline and Vespa for a wedding-themed publicity stunt in Manhattan. A costumed bride and groom cruised the streets of Manhattan on a spankin’ new Vespa scooter, giving out nearly 3,000 samples of Maybelline lipstick and 3,000 promotional postcards. The bride and groom, alongside a bridesmaid and a groomsman, gathered thousands of entries for a sweepstakes to win a 2008 Vespa.

The Westin Hotel chain needed a creative way to enhance their nationwide campaign to promote the rejuvenating and renewing experience of a Westin stay. Through the course of a three-day workweek Attack! commissioned a local Zen artist to design a Zen garden in San Francisco’s busy Union Square (directly across from The Westin Hotel itself). More than 25 tons of gravel and rocks were brought in to build the enchanting 30-by-80-foot garden. City-goers were able to watch the artist work first hand while hanging out, working, or reading. Friendly staff was on hand to answer questions, and over three thousand Westin Hotel flyers were distributed.
