To increase local awareness and get North Westerners excited about the launch of the Seattle Times’ community website, nwsource.com, Attack! sent brand ambassadors out to strategic locations in Seattle over summer 2008. The staff visited local markets, busy commercial areas, and summer fairs dressed in bright orange, branded t-shirts and visors. The street teams passed out the website’s discount cards, promotional materials and orange balloons. In total, over 50,000 brochures and discount cards were distributed!
To drive back-to-school shoppers into key Skecher’s retail stores, Attack! sent energetic brand ambassadors into high traffic shopping centers. Ambassadors were outfitted with Pixmen technology, a wearable media that displayed an LCD screen playing Skechers commercials. Over 6,000 coupons were distributed and received a 30-40% redemption rate!
